And let me show you two different workarounds so when you change the background color you don't cover your image now Instagram doesn't really have an easy way to do it so both of these are kind of a workaround the first one is again go to the marker option here and again select your background color that you want.
And press and hold and it will cover your image but you could click the eraser icon on top and then on the left side I'm gonna make my slider much bigger so my eraser is a lobby than it was before and I could just kind of erase over here you see that now I could see my image still but my background color around it has changed.
So again this is not ideal but this is one way to get around the option where it just covers your image you could just use the eraser option here and kind of try to erase the best you can around your image and if you make a mistake you could undo or you could press the sharpie again and kind of paint over the section where you made a mistake doing your best to kind of drawing straight lines over here so that's kind of what I do to fix this issue for myself
The other option I believe he only works for photos this works for photos and posts but I showed you but the other option only works for photos and I believe he only works on the iPhone so let me show you exactly how that goes so let me go back to Instagram story
And let me just go ahead and take a picture and let's go ahead and select our background color now we don't care about this picture I just took a picture so we could get to this page I'll just make this blue I'll choose blue on the bottom and I'll make sure Sharpie on top is picked and I'll
press and hold now I have a blue background now I could add an image on top of this that is not gonna be hidden.
Tip :- Please Follow the Screen shots or you may say image serially. And please read this post carefully and understand what I am trying to say.
So let me just go out of this and go to my photo library over here and this is the image I want okay if I press the up arrow on the bottom here I could go ahead and press copy photo you see this option that says copy photo press it and quickly go back to Instagram.
When you do that it shows up and you could press it on the bottom right here and he basically adds it like a sticker here now I could go ahead and just press down on top and I could use my two fingers to resize this exactly how I want to resize it now again this doesn't work for posts it just works for photos if I go back to the Sharpie icon and if I change my background color to let's say purple.
Here press and hold you see doesn't cover my photos so that's one way to get around it the other way was using the eraser option.
What is Instagram background?
Instagram background which I am going to win which is that home screen background because if you take any other background then that is of no use but if you take the home screen background it is very beneficial for you because the reason is as follows.
#1. If you add the home screen background which you gets the motivation to work hard Instagram on any other thing which means YouTube channel or any other thing by which you want to earn money.
And if you are getting demotivate then I sure we advise you there please apply the home screen background to the Instagram by which if you scroll the Instagram in your free time that screen will remind you that what is your goal and what persistence you have to make.
#2. If you are roaming with the friend circle it looks very cool that you you are going to apply and if you apply any of the thing which is cool and it is trending then that will be increasing your grade in front of your Friends.
#3. If you apply the Instagram background in such a way that we will easily see your chatting in your personal setting when you are chatting in bus, train or anywhere easily they can't read if you apply the background image in that way.
These are the benefits of applying home screen background to your Instagram and I don't think that in Instagram any other background is very much useful instead of Facebook in Facebook you will get the option background image in the Facebook page when you create.
I hardly recommend you to use only and only home screen background image not any else.
How do you get cool backgrounds on Instagram?
So here if you are not getting any cool images for Instagram background then I suggest you to go to Google and directly take the photos from the Google because in Instagram if you are not thinking that you want to rank on google then you may use the copyright images from the Google
But if your goal is that you have to rank your Instagram page on Google then that thing which you want to do is you won't have to steal the images from the Google perhaps you have to create your own images from canva aur from any other editing tool you are suitable to create your own images but don't copy or steal the images from Google it will harm your personality in further coming days.
Are recommend you to create your own images of design from the canvas or any other editing tool but if you want have take such a force then there are many websites which provide you the royalty free images are copyright free images then the list is as follows

These are the main website from which you can download the images but edit that photos also because that will be unique from the name of you.
Does Instagram steal your photos?
Yes, they have to process your all the accounts that's what they have to access your photos.
But they follow the privacy policy laws strictly. They don't share anyones personal data to anybody.
If they share the data without Taking the order or permission of that country's court then they give a big punishment. Or whose information Instagram has shared then that person has the right to sue Instagram.
